I first blogged about this "flower" in the spring, calling it Purple Mystery Flower. It's not a flower though; it is a very invasive weed. After it blooms a pod forms and develops into a dandelion-type seed ball. I guess I just liked how it was glowing in the morning light.
Even though it is an undesirable, this weed has interesting geometry in its design... cool shot Melissa.
