Today they started harvesting the lavender at Eatwell Farms, so I went back out there for a second photo shoot. This was probably 10am, so this was completely different light than the sunrise photos. The workers had probably harvested four or five rows by the time I got out there. The lavender bushes are cut with an electric cutter, like a hedge trimmer, then someone comes along and gathers together the cuttings which is the stage I photographed. Then finally someone else comes along and ties the bundle together with a rubber band to prepare them for drying.
