Thursday's Cut Flower

I forgot to mention the Yolo County Fair "Hall of Flowers" in yesterday's post.  Along with the many displays of potted plants and fun themed arrangements are the cut flowers.  There are two different cut flower competitions, Thursday and Saturday.  All of Thursday's flowers arrived freshly cut this morning and ready for their 10:30am judging time.  Judging was ongoing when I took this photo, so I don't know which is the winning flower, but this dahlia was my favorite!
