Benjamin Linus

Linus just loves to play with string.  We've been thoroughly going through things as we unpack here, and kids' stuff stored in the garage is the latest to get a fresh look.  Linus fell in love with this special string, which was made by my daughter at least a decade ago.  It was on its way to the trash, but Linus saved it.  We tie it on the handrail at the stairs, and he pulls on it until he can get it loose.  I found him curled up with his string, napping in the setting sun today.  (Although I'm pretty sure his left eye is looking at me!)

Sorry for being so bad with posting this summer/fall.  This move has really taken it out of me.  I'm thoroughly exhausted!  I'm way too busy and way too tired to be out with my camera everyday.  It's sort of a Catch-22 too, because getting out with my camera is very energizing for me.  I decided to lie low this week, and hopefully start making some field trips next week.  I can't wait to post regularly again soon...

Sometimes it is important to listen to what your body is telling you. Take your rest. You need it. I love meeting Benjamin Linus. Take the transition slowly, M. We will be here!!
