OK, I'll admit, I really like the ambiguity of the title. But the thing is, I was really noticing these horse coats yesterday. We have a lot of horse farms just out of town, and I was so interested in all the different colors the horses were wearing. It's not something I've paid attention to before; I'm sure it was the snow that drew my attention to the colorful clothing. I don't know how cold it needs to be for the horses to be decked out in their colorful coats (it is plenty cold here right now though with temps well below freezing all weekend!) I"m curious about this now, so I'm going to start paying more attention to all these horses.

depending on age of horse, how thin they are, if they are clipped or kept 'close-coated' for show, will determine whether a horse should be coated or not. most times, they do better without since they often get overheated under them if left on too long.
i always think of hugh hefner in his smoking jacket... :)
Najważniejsze, żeby mu było ciepło i nie ważny jest kolor okrycia. Cieszę się, że napisałaś komentarz u mnie . Pozdrawiam.
The most important thing to him was warm and not important is the color of the garment. I am glad that you wrote me a comment. Yours.
Great photo. Since this cold is sort of different for here, for this time of year, I wonder if the horses wear coats usually in December. I am going to ask a friend who has horses. I will let you know what I find out.
At a local stable the owner of the horses waits as long as she can, until the temperatures really drop. I've never noticed different colors of their coats, now I'll be sure to...
I don't know much about horses, but I always admire them. This is a pretty one and makes for a great photo!
