Clover in the Snow

Well, it started snowing yesterday morning and didn't stop until it was dark.  We got six inches which is quite a lot given that there are no plows or salt trucks around here and that it can be very hilly.  I didn't see any way to get out to the horse trail because there's an unclimbable hill (for us non-4WD drivers).  So Clover and I headed out on foot to our nearest path through the woods.  More snow coming tonight, then I think we'll warm up enough that our roads should melt.  For now we're all snowed in and loving it!

Just slid in from running errands around the city. Cars and trucks are fish-tailing all over the place, Kids are outside having snowball fights. Lots of laughter. Snow puts magic into the air. I'm sure Clover is in ecstasy on his trail. -- Nice photo and post -- barbara

Brrrrr.... I do love the snow photos, but please stay warm! Love the energy of Clover, obviously named in warmer weather.

Melissa, again, I'm loving your image. The abstract quality of the scene surrounding Clover...& also the way you caught Clover's spirit!

Clover looks happy! I had to work Thursday and Friday, but thanks to my TriMet buses, I made it back and forth without too much trouble. Much colder after work on Thursday than Friday and a longer wait for the second of two homeward bound buses on Thursday than Friday. The freezing rain/sleet alarms me somewhat, if only for the fact that the power could go out. I don't have to go anywhere until Monday morning to work, so I hope it's better by then.
