White Christmas
A beautiful snow up near Mt. Hood this morning after the snowline dropped early yesterday. A Christmas present for all the area skiers, who where flocking up to the ski resorts as we were heading home from our early morning snowy walk with Clover.
Yes, a lovely Christmas present you all gave to yourselves to go there! I am less adventurous now in the winters, but Acadia National Park is waiting for me (carriage paths/trails also worked on by the CCC (with a lot of financing & originating by John D. Rockefeller). Happy New Beginnings!

very pretty.
Yahoo! So glad there's finally snow on the Hood! I'd be up there skiing today if I wasn't recovering from foot surgery. But soon.....
Gorgeous image! Thanks for sharing.
I see the strength of the trees in this snowy photo -- so nice!
