Beaver Dam

This was a lucky find, driving out past Woodland the other day.  Too bad it's not closer to home; I think beaver dams are so pretty, and I love all the birch trees in the background.  I'll have to stop back here again whenever I'm up this way.

I think beaver dams are pretty & also that the work of the beaver is fascinating. I've seen a few of these dams... I always look for the beaver...haven't yet seen him...

pretty, but i'm sure they can be destructive to folks' woods, too. :)

Beaver dams are pretty common in the mountains of PA. They do make for some nice scenery. Beautiful shot, I like the trees in the background also!

Pretty reflection with all the bare birches bordered by green grass. Really lovely image!

Beavers are fascinating. Have observed a few around their territory. Very protective. I picked up some twigs near a dam that had their teeth marks to show a classroom of children -- they like the real thing rather than reading about it. nice photo -- barbara
