Ornamental Grass

It must be the time of year when the ornamental grasses used in landscaping around here start to go to seed.  I was drawn to the color and texture in the early morning light.  I hadn't been paying much attention to these ornamental grasses, but now I'm curious to see how these plants change as the season progresses.

Very nice. We are seeing tons of this along the highway with beautiful seed tops...but can't stop for a photo! I almost got out to take a picture of a black and white cow on a hill today but it was a small two lane country road. My eyes had to capture it. :) You would have liked it!

Lovely photo, Melissa. I like those three things which drew you to take the photo, color, texture and light. Thank you.
